Offer ings ranged adequate to ample and were in the closer balance on the 3 pound and smaller sizes. 3.5 to 4.0 sizes were offered at sharp discounts in an effort to stimulate activity. Live supplies were at least mod erate; weights were desirable to heavy. Processing schedules were moderately heavy. Less than trocldot asking prices were unchanged at 53 to 65 cents Trade sentiment was weak and unsettled. In the parts complex, wings were no more than adequate. In the Eastern region, prices were unchanged to lower on all sizes. Else where, prices were unchanged. The market tone was barely steady to weak, mostly unsettled. Demand remained mixed; light to occasionally good, usually no better than moderate, and improvement through scat tered feature interest was often limited. Supplies of all sizes were at least adequate to instances ample, and medium eggs con tinued in the longest position. Breaking stock supplies were adequate from regular soirees, and demand for addidond product was generally fair at best. Light type hens were fully adequate to ample for current slaughter needs.
