West Central District Dairy Show Announces Show Winners GAIL STROCK Mifflin Co. Correspondent CENTRE HALL (Centre Co.) The West Central District 4-H and FFA Dairy Show was con ducted the end of July at the Cen tre Hall Grange Fairgrounds. The blue ribbon winners can compete in the Pennsylvania Junior Dairy Show in Harrisburg Sept. 20. The Jersey breed started the show. Two Centre County 4-H’ers earned the grand and reserve rib bons. Josh Kellerman won grand champion with his 4-year-old and Alanna Judy won reserve grand champion with her junior 2-year old. Junior champion and top own cr/brccder honors went to Jennifer KeUerman of Centre County for her summer yearling. Ashley Judy of Centre County won reserve junior champion with her fall yearling. In the Ayrshire Show, Lisa Macknair of Mifflin County won grand reserve, and junior champ ion honors. Reserve junior champ ion went to Jason Klingler of Cen tre County. Grand champion of the Milking Shorthorn show went to Melissa Wolfe of Lycoming County. She also won reserve grand champion and junior champion. Lauren Daubert of Clinton County won reserve grand champion and the best animal bred and owned award with her cow six years and older.
