After Leib’s Allentown Supreme, It’s On To NAILE, Big E ANDY ANDREWS Lancaster Fanning Staff ALLENTOWN (Lehigh Co.) Bill Leib, statewide FFA vice pres ident, made his mark late last week at the Allentown Fair Sheep Show, winning overall market lamb. Now it’s on to several big shows for the veteran sheep exhibitor the North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisvil le, Ky., and the Big E in Massachusetts. (Not to mention Pennsylvania's own Keystone International Lives tock Expo in October and state Farm Show in January.) In between times Bill, 18, son of Bob and Suzie Leib and Cumber land Valley High School graduate, has to find time to fulfill lots of duties as FFA vice president. At the market lamb competition. Bill exhibited a yearling South down purebred lamb. This is the first time Bill has exhibited the market lamb champion at Allen town, even though he is a veteran of the show, exhibiting ag ed champions and numerous show manship awards. The lamb was purchased at a private sale in Virginia. Judge for the two-day show, which began the Thursday before last and continued on into Friday before last, was Steve Taylor, State College, manager of Lyn-Lee Farms.
