The market tone was cautiously steady on the larger sizes, generally steady on mediums. Demand was mixed, fair to good; although mostly moderate, with best movement cen tering around retail features. Supplies of the larger eggs were at least adequate to fully adequate, and mediums were usually adequate to instances barely adequate. On the West Coast, inventories were generally ample. Breaking stock supplies were adequate from regular sources, and demand for additional product was very limited. Offerings of light type hens were fully adequate to ample for current needs.
