Stocker cattle and calves 1.00-3.00 higher. Demand good for both classes. Weather spring like and wheat pasture responding accordingly. Many heavy weight, thin Stockers headed to wheat. Several thin calves, Stockers, and feeders off dry grass included in supply. Quality average to attractive. Weigh-ups gaunt to avenge. Feeder cattle off wheat in mostly medium flesh. Slaughter cows 2,00 lower. Slaughter bulls 3.00 lower. Demand moderate for slaughter cattle. Demand very good for all classes of cows returning to country including younger open cows. Total of 435 cows and bulls sold with 40 percent to packets. Receipts this week 12,123; last week 10,558; last year 8,834.
