828-Unc**ter Farming, Saturday, January 30, 1999 Sale Reports FRALEY’S DAIRY SALE A Public of 100 dairy cattle was held January 23 at Fraley’s Dairy Complex, 3 miles east of Muncy, Pa. along Kepner Road. There were more than 100 reg istered bidders. The Rambling Brook Farms herd averaged $l2OO and their top cow sold for $1575. A large group of bred heifers commanded high prices all day with the top ani mal, a Mandel from Hillside, selling for $l6OO. The top cow was assigned by Wolfe fami ly from Milton, a Darkstar, and was sold to Archie Monroe from Bradford for $3500. The 2nd high was a 3 year old Astra from Canada which was sold to Gor- Wood-D for $3lOO. The 3rd high was a fresh Ist calf heifer Huntsdale which was sold to Archie Monroe for $2400.
