Most producers who braved the ice-storm and hazardous roads brought Choice and Prime cattle; and buyer demand for those types was very good. Slaughter heifers were firm to JO higher and a light tun of Holstein steers sold 1.00 higher. Slaughter cow trading was uneven, the fleshy cows sold weak to 30 lower, while the leaner types (over 85 pet) were as much as 2.00 lower.
