President’s Report As I sit writing this most of Pennsylvania’s fanners are wait ing as fast as they can for the rain to end so we can all get in the fields again and try to get back on schedule for the year. Hopefully the above average rainfall this spring is indicative of adequate rainfall amounts this summer also. This past winter has been very interesting and busy as I have had the privilege of visiting many lo cal chapters activities and ban quets. It is especially encouraging for me to see the PYFA at the lo cal level, see new people getting involved, as well as meeting old friends. I am impressed with the effort and support that I see in many areas. I enjoyed the warm welcome at each activity and thanks to the Cedar Crest chapter, I am now literally full of bologna! Thanks again Dick! Coming up this summer are the NYFEA Summer Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida, July 3 - 6 and the Pa. Summer Conference on July 16 and 17, be ing hosted by the Tulpehocken Chapter. I would encourage any of you who can to plan to attend these activities. Also, coming up before we know it will be the 1999 Winter Convention, February 2-4, 1999, hosted by the Manheim Chapter at the Comfort Inn, Cen- Exit 3 £ * J W A 22 If anyone is interested in help ing with this event, additional as sistance will be appreciated.
