Jim and Jane, during their years in state government, became aware of the increasing problems of farmers with their use of chemi cals; pollution of water supplies, soil erosion, and increasing input costs. Working with people in the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and farmers throughout the United States, they learned about alternative programs and practices being developed. More durable parts and improved designs on the pickup, the bale forming mechanism, the drive assembly and the hydraulic systems have increased the durability, relia bility and performance of the baler. The 8590 baler uses a double knotter system and a prepack chamber with an -intermittent stuffer, pioneered by the same engineers who designed the 8580. These core features sup plemented by the new improve ments set new standards for productivity, durability, and reli ability in the large-baler mar ket. For even more productivity, the 8581 accumulator is designed to work with the 8590 and 8580. David Livermore Moor Man's Hires Sales 'Re BLUFFTON, Ind. -Moor Man's Inc., a division of ADM and a leading manufacturer of live stock feeds and premixes announced the hiring of David Livermore as an area sales rep resentative for the south central Pennsylvania area. Livermore is a 1983 graduate of Penn State with a degree in dairy production. He has worked in the feed industry for a num ber of years. He will be assigned to the south central area, which includes Franklin, Cumberland, Fulton, and Adams counties, where he will head Moor Man's sales team.
