Amy attended and pro vided leadership at the 1997 Fit ting and Showing Workshop. Amy was a member of the county 4-H Dairy Bowl team that partici pated at the regional level and at State 4-H Days, Penn State Uni versity. She showed animals at the District and State Jr. Dairy Show. First Year Dairy Member Award—The first year 4-H Dairy Member Award is primarily based on interest shown, attendance, quality of project work, scores at Roundup and participation at workshops, roundups and meet ings. This year the award was giv en to Sarah Wickard, the daughter of Vicki and Lonni Wickard, Newburg. She has been a very ac tive member attending our Dairy Workshop, Jr. Daily Bowl activi ties and presenting a demonstra tion at one of our 4-H meetings. Sarah showed four animals at the 4-H Dairy Roundup. Sarah had a perfect attendance record since she joined. Sarah turned in a very complete project record.
