(Turn to Pago Bit) National 4-H Congress Jason Smedberg, son of James and Immogene Smedberg, Chalfont, among more than 1,000 4-H young peo ple, stepped closer to leadership national style while attending the National 4-H Congress, Memphis, Tenn. Smedberg represented Buck County 4-H at the congress Nov. 28 through Dec. 3. The theme for this 76th cbngress was '‘feUnoSiiteWilHflrig, Vteftfatf'ift'Wlftm “Learning to Lead... Leading to Learn in a Diverse World.” The congress provided an opportunity for 4-H’ers to meet national figures such as Dave Thomas, CEO of Wendy’s Inc., and Kate Shindle, Miss America. In addition, Smedberg heard super seminars and lead ership and motivational speak ers, who encouraged all of the 4- H’ers to take steps to make a dif ference in their communities.
