Wednesday, as weather con- tinues favorable for winter wheat planting as well as com and bean harvesting. Export demand fair for wheat the past couple of days but com and bean sales scant Wheat 2 to 6 cents lower. Com 2 to 3 cents lower. Sorghum steady to 3 cents lower. Soybeans 1 to 6 cents tower. Winter wheat planting has picked up as favorable weather allows. Reports indicate that 40 percent of the winter wheat crop was in the ground as of Sunday. Good export demand for wheat, limited declines. Com and soybean harvest moving rapidly as good weather continues in the Midwest and Com Belt areas with only a slight chance of frost forecast for the NW part of the Com Belt. Export sales slow this week for com and beans. Trans portation problems in the plains have been reported as railroads continue to deliver cars late. Some elevators in Kansas repor tedly still have wheat on the ground and widespread piling of fall com and sorghum crops is likely. A record wheat harvest in this area has compounded storage problems.
