The Pocono Old-Tyme Farm Equipment Association presents the 2nd Annual Andque Tractor, Gas Engine and Farm Equipment Show here at the West End Fair grounds on Friday, Sept. 19 - Sun day, Sept. 21. The show hours are 9 a.m. until dusk Friday, Saturday and Sun day. There is an admission charge of $1 per person and 12 years old and under are free accompanied by an adult Scheduled entertainment includes Friday 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., 107 FM Country Radio live broadcast; Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. “The Hawks,” and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., “Jerry & The Night Riders Band,” and Sunday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., “The Mark Twain of the Pennsylvania Dutch” (Gary Gates, comedian). During the day, those that compete in the antique engine slow competition will be moni tored to see whose antique engine runs the slowest, which will deter mine the winner. To compete in the Antique Farm Tractor Pull on Saturday at 2 p.m., you must register on Satur day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and must be 16 years or older and you may use your own antique tractor that was built up until 1960 (note that modified tractors are not allowed). A $lO registration fee is required. Trophies will be awarded to Ist, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place winners, plus cash for the Ist and second place winners only. Scheduled activities on Sunday include 10 a.m. church services for all faiths; from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., wheat threshing demonstra tions; noon, tractor parade; 1 p.m.. tractor driving skill competition; and at 2 p.m., kid’s pedal tractor pull.
