The market tone was mixed from mostly weak to steady. Demand for loose eggs was light to moderate. Cartoned demand was mixed, ranging from light to good, and lessened daily as restocking after Easter dwindled. Supplies were usually adequate to fully adequate. Breaking stock supplies were generally adequate, and more available in areas which had been deficit.
