The schedule for the 10 annual PaJDHIA spring technician conferences starts March 21 and runs through April 10, at various locations throughout the state. Attendance at the spring and fall conferences is mandatory for tech nicians. It is time spent providing technicians with updates on new technology and policy, as well as reviewing programs, field work and technician observations. All conferences begin at 10 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. The spring conference is just one of three annual conferences held to further update and educate each technician. Also, mini conferences are held monthly to address any questions or concerns each technician may have concern ing the Job. The main topics to be presented at this year’s series of spring con ferences include a new billing sys tem, as well as a review of all repeats and programs includes in the Pa.DHIA packages. Along with these activities, time will be spent analyzing the Westfa lia Dairy Plan reports and the Cus tomized Optional reports that are currently available. Technicians should be reminded to bring their computer and printer to the meeting they are to attend.
