Youth ages 11 to 14 are invited to learn how to present “the best you” at a 4-H self-improvement program, “Looking Good” spon sored by the Montgomery County 4-H Program. The six-week program will be offered in two locations this spring: at the Montgomery Coun ty 4-H Center located on Route 113, near Skippack and at the Up per Dublin Parks and Recreation Department on Loch Alsh Avenue in Fort Washington. Both pro grams will run for six consecutive Tuesdays, beginning April 1 and ending May 6. Mark Freed, president of Fellow ship of Christian Fanners (FCF) International, will be the keynote speaker at a March 8 FCF Out reach Luncheon at the Leola Family Restaurant, Leola. The family farmer from central Illinois will talk of his experiences in farming, military service, and as leader of the 12,000-strong or ganization with work missions to countries such as Albania, Brazil, Mexico, Nicaragua and Russia. Farm Couple Combine In Bridal Ceremony Duane Saucier places his new bride in a John Deere 780 tractor for the ride from the church ceremony to the bridal reception on Feb. 22. Both bride and groom are known in farming circles. For many years, Tina Umbrell of Elizabethtown showed hogs. Since high school graduation, she worked part time on the her parents’, Dennis and Linda Umbrell’s farm, where they raise cattle and hogs and farm 330 acres, and as a floral designer. Duane grew up on a hog farm owned by his parents Glen and Shirley Sauder in Manheim. Since graduation, Duane does custom combining for Dave Hernley and also crop farms on his own and does custom hauling.
