Heisey of Lebanon, a member of People to People International’s board of trustees, recently at tended the organization ’s 12th Worldwide Conference in New port Beach, California. The Board held its annual meet ing on September 28, which was held in conjunction with the Worldwide Conference from Sep tember 25-29 at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel and Tennis Club. Approximately 500 individuals representing People to People In ternational's membership at tended the five-day conference. The event, which celebrated Peo ple to People’s 40th anniversary, returned to the organization’s founding year, 1956, and com pared “The Road to Peace” as it had been traversed by the U.S., Russia, and the Middle East PTPI presented its highest award, the Eisenhower Medallion, posthu- ijßPaaßifßign .
