The new membership districts will encompass approximately one eleventh of the total member ship in PA DHIA. District boun daries will coincide with county lines. Each county association will have one delegate for every 40 voting members or fraction there of, or one delegate minimum if there is less than 40 members in a county. The delegate election pro cedure and numbers will be the same as before. The Board is man dated by the Bylaws to review the districts every three years, and be cause of the Strategic Long Range Planning Committee recom mendations, they decided to downsize at the same time. District 1 will elect a new director for one year, district 2 for two years, and dis trict 3 for three years, and each district thereafter up to 11 shall be elected for a one-, two- or three year period. Thereafter succeed ing elections will be for a three year term. Each county unit is strongly en couraged to participate in this winter’s district meetings, so it is important they are represented by their delegates. The entire board is up for election.
