Demand good for feeders. Steer and heifer calves steady to 2.00 lower with tight to moderate demand. Calves comprised bulk of supply with greatly increased supply of Brahma cross calves. Quality of supply plain to average and well below last week. Calf flesh continues fleshy. Weigh-ups gaunt to average. Although calf market structure is not improved from last fall cow men ate marketing calves in a normal fash ion. Spring bom calves ate being sold on schedule. Last fall many calves were held over in hopes of market improvement. This does not appear to be happening this year. Slaughter cows 1.00- I.io lower. Slaughter bulls 1.00 lower. Demand light to mod erate. 850 cows and bulls sold with 80 per cent to packers.
