After receiving applause and words of appreciation from legi slators, Kieklak and Werley also received private audience from Gov. Tom Ridge, who managed to fit some time to meet with the prin cesses and their parents. Kieklak had met Gov. Ridge previously through official cere monies, and can be expected to meet Werley again, especially at the 1997 State Farm Show. How ever, Monday’s reception was much more personal because it Princesses was in recognition of the House honoring Kieklak. Kieklak’s parents, Richard and Robin, said they were delighted to visit with the governor, a first for them. In fact, it was the first time Richard had been to the Capital.
