Lancaster Farming, Saturday, March 30, 1996421 Berks Executive Society The bi-monthly meeting of the Berks County Farm Women Ex ecutive Board met recently in the auditorium of the Agriculture Center with 20 members in at tendance. President Wendy Lingle opened the meeting. Jane Kramer of Group #8 had devotions. Roll call was an swered by telling what each per son did during the 1996 blizzard. The April bingo at Berks Heim will be held on Tuesday, April 9, at the Annex at 7 p.m. The November bingo will be held on Thursday, November 14 at the main building. Each group is in charge of bringing prizes. All members planning to at tend the State Convention in Harrisburg will receive a refund due to the cancellation of the convention. The Farm Women Spring Ral ly will be held at Seven Springs, hosted by Somerset County on Tuesday, May 28. Theme - Hap piness Is. Each group is responsi ble for ordering their tickets. Barbara Kintzer will check into getting a bus for the trip. Group #3 is in charge of plan ning the County Convention to be held on Saturday, October 5.
