Feeder heifers 1.00-3.00 higher. Steer calves 1.00-3.00 higher. Heifer calves steady to 2.00 higher. Demand vety good for feeder steers, especially heavy weight, short term, feedlot cattle. Demand moderate for feeder heifers and all calves. Quality average to attractive. Flesh conditions of feeders medium to heavy. Calves in thin to medium flesh and very desirable for buy ers. Weigh-ups average to full Hie latest statistics show only 9 percent of Oklaho ma's wheat crop is in good condition. This is vety evident with Monday's bulk supply in the 600-800 lb. range. Last year's bulk numbers fell in the 700-900 lb. range, 100 pounds heavier. Slaughter cows 2.00-3.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 1.50 lower. Packer demand fair to moderate with best demand for Utility cows. Total of 350 cows and bolls told with 75 percent going to packers. Receipts this week 13400; last week 1,060; last year 8,354. Supply consisted of 74 percent yearlings and calves over 600 lbs; 26 percent calve: under 600 Iba; 3 per cent cows and bulk. Prices follow with weighted avenge weight and price in parenthesis.
