Young Farmers Celebrate At Banquet EPHRATA (Lancaster Co.)— The Ephrata Area Young Fanners Association (EAYFA) held its 27th annual banquet at the Durlach-ML Airy Fire Hall on Saturday evening, Feb. 3. JOSEPH, Mo.—The centennial celebra tion of the Southwestern Exposition and Live stock Show set the stage for the 1996 National Angus Roll of Victory (ROV) Show. Angus breeders paraded 177 entries at the event held Jan. 27 in Fort Worth, Texas. Doug Worthington, manager of Vintage An gus, Modesto, Calif., sorted the 121 heifers and 56 bull entries. Exhibitors from seven states shared the grand champion titles. Sedgwicks Dividend 4174 was the grand champion entry in the bull competition. This honor marked the fourth ROV title for the March 1994 son of TC Dividend 963. The bull, also known as “Rebar,” was first named the junior champion. He is owned by McCurry Bro thers, Sedgwick, Kan.; Black Wave, Middle town, Md; and Middlefield Farms, Feat Collins, Colo. „ Reserve grand champion bull honors went to Krugerrands Moneyline, a February 1993 son of Krugerrand of Donamere 490.
