DENLINGER SALE
A final art dispersal
auction of the paintings
of the late Milton E.
Denlinger was held Fri
day night for his wi
dow, Mae Denlinger, at
the former M. Stewart
Galleries in Paradise.
Denlinger, who died
in 1991, was a Lancas
ter artist who did oils,
acrylics, still lifes and
murals. He was known
for his covered bridges
and local farm and his
torical scenes.
He had exhibited at
the Reading Museum,
Franklin ft Marshall
College’s FAckenthal
Library mid the Wash
ington Museum of Fine
Arts in Hagerstown,
Md.
Eighty-four paintings
were sold Friday.
