WEAVER SALE A sale of the Weaver Homestead at 501 Lind en Grove Road, Eph rata, was held Monday for Clarence Weaver, ABram Weaver, Ruth Martin and Anna Mary Nolt The 30.7-acre farm, including two farm houses and a bam, was sold to David Hoover, New Holland, for $403,000. The auction was con ducted by Aaron E. Martin Auction Service, Ephrata. DENLINGER SALE A final art dispersal auction of the paintings of the late Milton E. Denlinger was held Fri day night for his wi dow, Mae Denlinger, at the former M. Stewart Galleries in Paradise. Denlinger, who died in 1991, was a Lancas ter artist who did oils, acrylics, still lifes and murals. He was known for his covered bridges and local farm and his torical scenes. He had exhibited at the Reading Museum, Franklin ft Marshall College’s FAckenthal Library mid the Wash ington Museum of Fine Arts in Hagerstown, Md. Eighty-four paintings were sold Friday. The highlights were “Hans Herr House” $3300, “Millwood Mill” $2OOO, “Judge Guy Bard Estate” $l7OO, two paintings ti ded “Mill Bridge” $725 and $2lO, “Horses at MHI Bridge” $350, “Octoraro Creek” $3OO, “Autumn” $3OO, two paintings titled “Winter at Mill Bridge” $2OO and $220, “Strasburg Rail Road” $l7O, “Wood Cutter” $l9O, “Lancaster County Amish” $l7O, and “Old English Cottage $2lO.
