Shirley urged members to think seriously about the legislative resolutions the group adopted and urged diem to offer opinions and support to the directors as Farm Bureau works to make agricul ture’s voice heard in Carroll County. This year’s county resolutions included a vote to urge Carroll’s commissioners to keep a farmer on the county’s Planning and Zon ing Commission. The role of the commission has become increas ingly important as Carroll has and continues to develop. Den nis Bowman, the Union Bridge dairy farmer who chaired the com mission, was not reappointed when his term expired this fall.
