Scholarship Application Deadline Nov. 10 HARRISBURG (Dauphin Co.) Agriculture Secretary Charles C. Brosius today announced that Friday, Nov. 10 is the deadline for Farm Show exhibitors to apply for Farm Show Scholarships. Money for the scholarships comes from a fund estab lished following the 1993 Farm Show Sale of Champ ions. A non-profit foundation was established 1o administer contributions and distribu tions of the scholarship money. Any young person who exhibited a market animal (steer, market swine or market lamb) at the Farm Show since 1993 is eligible to apply. Applicants must be full-time students working toward a degree at a post-secondary institution. Criteria for selection includes scholarship; leader ship in school, community and 4-H or FFA; participation in the Farm Show; and finan cial need. Scholarship awards will be presented prior to the 1996 Farm Show Sale of Champions. Applications can be obtained from the county extension office, high school agricultural instructor or from the Farm Show Scholarship Foundation Office, 4717 Orchard Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
