In the Holstein show, a 5-year
old, Globe Run CB Top Oslo,
shown by Lory Ann Baker, of
McConnellsburg, was named
senior and grand champion.. A
home-bred animal, the cow is a
daughter of Globe Run Warden
Top Gun
Elizabeth Walton, of Carlisle,
showed the reserve senior and
reserve grand champion Holstein,
a 4-ycar-old, Fountain Farm Lead
Molly. A daughter of Rothrock
Tradition Leadman-ET, she was
bred by Harry and Aliene Thomp
son, Carlisle.
One animal was selected as the
best animal owned and bred in the
Holstein breed, instead of having
two animals named, according to
age division.
A senior yearling. Pack Herd
Encore Baiuka. exhibited by
David Packard, of Troy, was
named the best bred and owned,
and it was named the junior
champion. The heifer is a daughter
of Marcresl Encore
The reserve junior champion
was a junior yearling, Dar-Dale
Nuiany Pepsi, owned by Dixie
Lynn Doll, of Glen Rock. A
Singing-Brook Nillany-ET
daughter, the heifer is a home-bred
animal
Jersey
In ihc Jersey show, a junior
3-ycar-old, Dorlyn Junctions
Wendy, owned by Scott Lackey, of
Clarks Mills, was named senior
and grand champion. A daughter
ol Diarwood Junction, it was bred
by Nan Dorp Carolyn, of Scaforth,
Ontario.
The reserve senior and reserve
grand champion was a senior

3-ycar-old, Eastmont Juno Debbie,
showed by Samantha Wilcox, of
Covington. A daughter of Valley
stream JIS Juno, the cow was a
home-bred animal.
The best bred and owned senior
age animal was a junior 3-year
old, which placed third in its class
to the grand champion. Ranking
Juno Sabrina. Sabrina was shown
by Lisa Rankin, of Burgctlslown,
and is also a Juno daughter.
The junior champion Jersey was
a summer yearling. Creme Parfait
Imperial DcGwan, owned by Ben
Clonmger, of Centre Hall. A Mea
down Lawn J Imperial daughter
the heifer was’bred by Robert and
Jan O’Conner, of Boalsburg.
The reserve Junior champion
Jersey was a junior yearling,
Neshammy Imperial Prestige, bred
and owned by Amy Plummer, of
Chalfont. The heifer is a Meadow
Lawn Imperial daughter out of
Amy’s older show cow Top-O-
Hill Juno Patches. It was the best
bred and owned junior-age animal.
Milking Shorthorn
The Milking Shorthorn show
was the smallest of the breed
shows, reflecting us commercial
dairy status in the state. However,
the animals exhibited were praised
by the judge for the quality. And
though the senior cow classes
from the senior 3-year-old class
on were single-animal entries,
most all classes had depth.
The senior and grand champion
was a 4-year-old, Summit Vista
Roscoc Iran Twin, owned by Jason
Hceter, of Shade Gap. The cow is a
daughter of Summit Vista Roscoe,
bred by Mark Goshom, of Blairs
Mills.
Matthew Goshorn, also of
Blairs Mills, showed the best ani
mal bred and owned, a senior
2-year-old, Summit Vista Enhance
Daisy-Exp, which placed third in
its class. She is a daughter of
Kmgsdale Enhancer-ET.
The reserve senior and reserve
grand champion was a junior
2-year-old, Horizon Enhancer
Rozlyn-Exp, owned by Chriselle
Fisher, of New Enterprise. A
Kings Dale Enhancer daughter,
she was bred by Christine Young,
of New Enterprise.
The junior champion was an
intermediate yearling. Designer
Gene’s Jody’s Jill, owned by Brian
Scholl, of Elizabethville. Bred by
Maggie Whiling, of Edinburg, the
