They milk 55 registered and grade Holstelns and a few registered Brown Swiss that carry the Ne-Ru prefix and average 19,700 pounds of milk. In addition, they have 55 young animals as replacements. A modified system of rotational grazing Is used with three or four paddocks that are rotated on a weekly basis. Beside the cows, the Baxters raise 800 hogs.
