The Tioga County Fair has one of the largest baked goods dis plays around and this is the only place where you can purchase first prize baked goods. Wednesday is the first of many days throughout the week with a dairy or livestock show. The 4-H and Vocational Dairy Show will start at 9 a.m. Family Day, being sponsored by Grecos Super Dupcr, will continue as the kids try their hands (feet?) in the Pedal Tractor pull or participate in the games and contests. Take time to watch one of the racing and diving pigs shows and the Poco clowns. If you attend the fair on Wed nesday, you will be in for some real “treats.” You will have the opportunity to sample some of the finest products grown and made in this county - all under one roof! I Make sure you come to the fair on Ag Promotion Day. The fun continues Wednesday night with a new kind of entertain ment. Because of all the interest in last year’s rodeo, this year’s fair board is pleased to announce the appearance of The Crown H All Bull Riding Show at 8 p.m. You won’t want to miss any of the excitement as you watch the high DHIA Herds For May jumping, hard hitting, fast spin ning power of the rodeo bulls and the guts and determination of the bull rider as he tries to make that 8-second ride! On Thursday, there is an early morning showing of the county’s best beef animals. It’s a lot of fun to watch these kids do their best to lead these huge animals around the ring. Lots of fun can be had in the afternoon if you stay around to watch the sheep blocking contest These lambs are brought straight fiom the field to be made show ready in an hour. In the Youth Cen ter Building, there will be an all day sheep and wool show. Demon strations will include sheep shearing, spinning, and felting.
