Recipients of $2OO awards were McKean and Mercer counties, and Lehigh County re ceived a $lOO award. Awards were also presented for genetic achievement and show ring accomplishments by Holstein members. All-Pennsylvania Awards went to SI head which placed in the top of the 18 classes of the three major Holstein shows in the state with more than 1,050 total animals ex hibited. Five of the All-Pennsyl vania awards went to Steve and Chris' Wood, Penn Gate Farms, Littlestown, three went to James and Nina Burdette, Mercersburg, and the remaining were split among 32 other exhibitors. Progressive Genetics Herd re cognition went to 63 Pennsylvania Holstein breeders, from among the SOO herds across the country on the DHIR testing program fin ishing with the highest TPI. The Donald Seipt family’s Key stone Farm, Easton, topped the longevity list of PBR winners at 37 years, while 10 state Holstein breeders were first-year recipi ents.
