GMD 801 incorporates all the new and advanced features of the “100” Series with a working width of cut of 10 feet 2 inches (3.11 m). Kuhn applied 25 years of re search and development in the field of disc mowers to manufac ture the new GMD 801 multidisc mower. At its heart is a complete ly re-engineered cutterbar. Discs are optimally placed so that the knife overlap cuts clean under Kubota Appoints Senior V.P. TORRANCE, Calif Kubota Tractor Corporation President T. Soh has announced the appoint ment of Robert “Robin” F. Killian Jr. as the company’s senior vice president of sales and marketing. Killian brings to Kubota some 20 years of sales and marketing ex perience in the equipment manu facturing industry, primarily at J.I. Case. Since joining Case in 1975, Kil lian has held a number of key sales and marketing positions through out the United States. Most recent ly, he served as regional manager for Case’s eastern region. There he was responsible for sales, mar keting, service and parts for agri cultural and construction equip ment in Case’s largest-volume re gion. Prior to joining Case, Killian served in the U.S. Army. A native of Missouri, Killian received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo., in 1969 and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Mil waukee in 1982.
