The seventeenth annual Keystone Pork Expo will be held February 15 at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center at the Lebanon Fairgrounds on Cornwall and Rocherty Roads in Lebanon, Pa. This year’s meeting will feature a trade show with 48 exhibits and educational seminars for producers. The Con gress will once again sponsor a “Pork Bowl” contest and public speaking competition for competing FFA and 4-H members. Dr. Kirk Clark, nationally recognized for his work with med icated early wean pro grams at Purdue Univer sity, will speak on the “Benefits of Multiple Site Production. ” Gary Maas, president of Agri Careers in Massena, lowa, will provide tips on “Keeping Top Notch Employees." Tom Con gelton, marketing man ager for the Central Ken tucky Hog Marketing Association in Spring field, will provide his perspective on “Estab lishing a Marketing Net work. " Lou Moore, Penn State professor of Agri cultural Economics and continuing Pork Expo favorite, will be on hand to deliver his hog market outlook. Dennis Zimmerman, a producer and member of the Nutrient Manage ment Advisory Board, will discuss the Nutrient Management Law and how it will affect indi vidual operations. Following the educa tional seminars, the fourth annual Legisla tive Activity Fund Auc tion will be held. There will be no banquet this year following the Expo, but one is tentatively planned for later this year.
