PROSPECT (Butler Co.) The Western Pennsylvania FFA Regional Dairy Show was held at the Butler County Fairgrounds, on Monday, July 25. Six breeds were exhibited. Because of the concern for the spread of bovine viral diarrhea, only 13 FFA members exhibited 30 head of cattle for qualification for the Pennsylvania Junior Dairy Show on September 26 in Harrisburg. National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) president and Essex, lowa farmer Pete Wenstrand com mended the Environmental Pro tection Agency (EPA) for a “job well done” in finalizing the reg ulations for the Renewable Oxygenate Requirement (ROR). “The ROR exemplifies the dedication of the Clinton Admi nistration to expand the use of renewable forms of energy, like ethanol,” said Wenstrand.
