The DRPC Production Focus Group also met during the two-day event and recommeded the addi tion of more reporting codes for reasons for cow disposal; and an option to report a descriptive rea son for a cow’s leaving the herd. The DRPC Advisory Board adopted all the recommendations. Also announced was the intro duction of color laser-printed DHI reports. The colors are to be used to highlight areas of interest accord ing to member’s needs. A commit tee is currendy studying possible data to highlight as well as overall report design. Turkey Hill Dairy will under write all festival expenses and do nate ticket proceeds to the Library System of Lancaster County. Pro ceeds arc used to purchase hund reds of children’s books for the county’s 17 library units. Donations toward the tickets for the Turkey Hill Ice Cream Festi val are $4 for adults and youth ages 12 and over; $2 for youth ages 5-11; and children 4 and un der are free when accompanied by an adult ticket holder. There will be a $1 discount on tickets if pur chased before the festival. Also, while supplies last, advance ticket sales will include a commcmora live 10th anniversary button. Tickets are now on sale at any of the 17 library units in Lancaster County. Free parking will be available in the Prince Street Gar age on the day of the festival. Lancaster County libraries that have tickets on sale and which benefit from the proceeds of the festival are located in Adams town, Christiana, Columbia, Elizabethtown, Ephrata, Inter course, Lcola, Lilitz, Manhcim, Manhcim Township, Mount Joy, Mountville, New Holland, Quar ryvillc, and Strasburg.
