She has received her Greenhand and Chapter degrees and plans to work as a secretary for the family’s business. Neal Saunders Neal Saunders, 17, son of Ron and Cleo Saunders. Gillett, Bradford County, said he plans to continue working on his parents’ dairy farm. The four-year Tioy FFA member has served as chapter trea surer for three years. In addition, Neal has participated on the BOAC, citrus, program of activities, and ways and means commit tees. He has worked on dairy cow projects and has work experience on a dairy farm. The 17-year-old son of James and Carol Sense nig has served as chapter parliamentarian and chaplain. In addition, Matthew has served on several committees, including conduct of meetings, supervised farming, and BOAC. He attended the National FFA Convention, Penn State Activities Week, and area leadership training conferences. Matthew has received a variety of awards, including poultry production. David Shank Four-year East ern Lebanon County FFA mem ber David Shank plans to continue to work on his uncle’s dairy farm and to continue to learn how to operate a farm. David, 17, son of Harold and Cai stown, Lebanon County, has served as chapter historian and second vice presi dent. Committees David has been involved with include earnings and savings, recrea tional activities, conduct of meetings, cooperative activities, supervised ag experience, and window display. Jevon Shirk After graduation, Jevon Shirk said he plans to “go out west for about half a year and work on a combine crew.” After that, he said, he wants to work as a hired hand and live on the dairy farm he works for. Wesley and Mary Jane Shirk, Narvon, Lancaster County, has served the Grass-’ land FFA fra four years in various capaci ties, including sentinel and student adviser. The FFA member has also served on vari ous committees, including SAE, BOAC, and community service. SAE has included four years of sheep production, a year of sheep breeding, three years of on-farm work experience, and a year of dairy calf production. In addition, he recently won reserve champion at the New Holland Sheep Show. Jevon has earned his Star Red Rose and Red Rose degrees. Gereon S. Jennifer Shultz “I would like to continue in the family farm business and increase my responsibil ities as my family retires from the partner ship,” indicated two-year Danville FFA member Jennifer Shultz. Jennifer, 17, daughter of Marlin and Karen Shultz, Dan ville, Northumberland County, has served as chapter chaplain and on various com mittees, including citrus. She has partici pated in various dairy judging contests, including the FFA district and state dairy shows. Her SAE has included 12 head of dairy cattle. In addition, Jennifer has received the Greenhand and Chapter degrees. Stephanie Singo Stephanie Singo, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Singo. Rockwood, said she plans to attend Garrett County Com munity College and to manage the family feed store, in addition to run for state FFA office.
