Previously, Landis had served as the chapter’s student advisor. For the past four years, Erie has been a member of his chapter’s demonstration team, parliamentary procedure team, and has participated in speakipg contests. He also participates in record book competi tions, in work experience, and in produc tion projects. Landis said he plans to pursue education in travel and tourism. Her other FFA activities include involvement with the chapter’s Officer Nominations, Pracdcum Skills, MFE, Ag Progress Days, State FFA Week, and Harvest J übilee committees and participat ing in livestock and dairy judging, and in creed and public speaking contests. She said she intends to attend college to pursue a nursing degree. Melodee Lesher, 17, daughter of Marlin and Dawn Lesher, Pitman, is president of the Mahantango-Line Mountain FFA Chapter at Line Mountain High School. She has also served as its secretary for two years, and has earned her Greenhand, Chapter, and SUN Area degrees. Melodee said she has had a dairy cattle and field com project for four years and is a member of the chapter’s dairy judging and parliamentary procedure team. She has also served on the chapter nominating and banquet committees. Melodee said she plans to pursue a col lege degree in physical therapy. Eric Eric Leitch, 17 son of lan and Doris Leitch, Beaver Springs Snyder County is sentinel of the West Snyder FFA Chapter at West Snyder High School, also having served in that position last year and as assistant sentinel from 1991-1992. His FFA activities include rabbit pro duction, raising a dairy cattle calf, and serving as co-chair of die chapter’s chick en barbeque committee. In addition, he attended the 1992 National FPA Conference and some leadership conferences.
