Members who were presented awards during 4-H Achievement Night included Beth Green, Gettysburg, Olwyn Weant Fashion Revue Memorial; Kristin Johns ton, Gettysburg, Lois Smith Gardening and Mrs. Edward Snyder Clotliing Memorials: Chad Funt, Arendtsville, Larry B. Feeser, Sr. Swine Memorial; Abe Bucher, New Oxford, ABC Williams Special Leadership and Robert Lott Memorials; and Matt Brown, McKnightstown, Wil liam Miller Special Leadership Memorial. Each recipient received a hardback book specifically inscribed with their specific award. Also, members were presented with the “I Dare You” Award. They are Marc Scott, Gettysburg; Richard Rudolph, Hanover, Heather Hawkins. New Oxford; and Daryll Gebhart, Ontanna. The award is made available through the American Youth Foundation and is based upon excellence in character, balanced personal develop ment, and leadership potential. The award is presented as a challenge to teen members to continue their career in 4-H. Leaders were also recognized for service to 4-H recen tly.
