The field day features three concurrent tours running from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.: field crops and soils, horticulture, and animal sciences. Stops along the Field Crops and Soil Tour are residue management in. tillage systems, controlling phosphorus runoff from cropland, cultural practices* of controlling slugs in no-till systems, and new com and soybean varieties.
