C2-Lancaster Farming, Saturday, June 5, 1993 MARION, Ohio Na-Churs fertilizer company announced that it shipped a record 2.2 million gal lons of fertilizer in the month of April 1993. This surpasses all pre vious monthly shipment records since the company was founded Na-Churs Fertilizer Sets Record 45 years ago. The growth of Na-Churs ferti lizer is because of several reasons convenience of the product, ef fectiveness, lower volume input of fertilizer material, and thus reduc ed impact against the environ- ment. The Na-Churs program goes right along with nutrient management, conservation tillage, and other progressive farming practices. Na-Churs distributor, PARS. Inc., from Elizabethtown, is one of the largest Na-Churs distributors, and has also seen a growth in their business. “Our growth is due, in part, to fanners* realization that our pro ducts ate processed, and are more readily used by the crop which means that there is less chance of fertilizer tie-up or leaching,” said Phares Auker, president Also he says, “our programs are more na tural, and seek to bring soils back to a proper balance. Like a balanc ed diet for livestock, sooils need a balanced di too.”
