York Society 26 York Farm Women 26 cele brated its 271 h anniversary with a walking lour of the historical buildings in the city of York. It consisted of the Benham House, Plough Tavern, Gates House, the old Court House and the Barnett Bobb Log House. Lunch was at the Yorktowne Hotel. The group was organized on May 11,1966. Ruth Hake served as the first president. There are five charter members and one associate member still in the group. The next meeting will be on June 8 at Coakley’s restaurant at New Cumberland.
