After giving the pro gress report for the as sociation’s activities this year, President Ed Wilkinson introduced both guests and board members. Also includ ed on the agenda was a summary of the benefits of being a member in the group: insurance, advisory council up date, consumer market ing, livestock market ing, women’s functions, farm management, pub lic relations, and group purchasing as presented by the respective com mittee chairpersons. An added attraction was the special enter tainment provided by the “ACTS,” Adult Citizens Theatrical So ciety, of Adams Coun ty. The society, consist ing of retired citizens, was organized 10 years ago as a group to meet and read plays or attend theatrical bus trips. The group originally was launched with eight members but now boasts of more than 60 full-time participants. The presentation for the association was from the “California Suite” starring Genevieve Slc gal and Harold Dunkle berger.
