He also won the full season sdjbean contest with 69.8 bushels per acre. Jim Musser cap tured the shelled com and double crop soybean honors with 175.9 13 Pleasant Valley Rd. John Hal deman received the honors for tobacco production. Three members shared the dairy awards. David Wenger took the honors for high rolling herd aver age at 22,919 pounds and high two-year-old cow production at 26,671 pounds. Ken Zurin won the high lifetime production award with 251,876 pounds. Joe and Beulah Snavely had the most improved herd average with an increase in production of 3,526 pounds. The Outstanding Young Farmer Under 30 Award went to Roger and Patti Garber. The Garbers farm in partnership with Roger’s father Jim and brother Phil. They produce hogs, poultry, and beef as well as farm several hundred acres. The Outstanding Young Farmer Over 30 Award was received by Jim and Sue Musser.
