as standard equipment; including
the full powershift transmission,
an improved deluxe, iso-mounted

shuttle shifting from forward to

Pulse shifting and electronic
control allow the automatic
“speed matching” feature to effi
ciently and instantly match trans
mission gear to engine speed and
ground speed. Preselected forward
or reverse shuttle speeds make fre
quent speed and direction changes
easy for loader applications.
“The new full powershift trans
mission is just one of the high-tech
features that separates the 9600
series from the competition,” said
Shumejda. “The farmer will get
more work done faster with the
full powershift feature and will be
much more comfortable doing it
with the improved deluxe cab.”
The cab-forward design of the
9600 Series provides a smoother,
more comfortable ride. Fifteen
inches farther forward and two
inches higher than previous mod
els, the cab’s location allows for a
better view of what is in front and
to the sides. It also greatly im

ing passenger seat with a seatbelt
has been added to the left console.
The throttle and transmission
controls have been consolidated in
the operator’s seat itself. Located
in the seat’s right-hand control
console, this arrangement makes
shifting movements comfortable
and logical and single gear selec
