Lancaster Unit Of Pennsylvania EVERETT NEWSWANGER Managing Editor LANCASTER (Lancaster Co.) —The Pennsylvania unit of the Lancaster County DHIA met at Willow Valley Conference Center on Thursday afternoon. This group is the remainder of Lancaster DHIA members who have chosen not to join most of the county DHIA members in their move to Raleigh for processing and Mary land for lab testing. About 50 per sons attended this meeting. In the awards presentations, Glenn E. Burkholder had both the top herd management award and the high milk and protein herd. The management award is based on various categories related to good herd management and Burkholder had 133 points. His herd average was 24,794 pounds of milk and 749 pounds of protein.
