Byler, Jr. His plans are simple: get a job. save money, then go to guide school in Monta na. Meanwhile, Joseph A. Byler, Jr. spent a great deal of time in various work experi ence projects, including dairy calf, project book, and salesmanship. He has served the Penns Valley FFA for four years as repor ter and participated in an array of contests, including creed, meat judging, district dairy show, project book, sales, small engine, and other contests. Grant E. Campbell In the future, four-year Upper Dauphin Area FFA member Grant Campbell wants to run for state FFA office. Beyond that, he would like to attend Harrisburg Area Com munity College while working at home on his family’s dairy farm. Grant has com piled many hours of on-farm work experi ence, including the dairy herd, market lambs, greenhouse, and home gardening. Katherine Ann Cole Currently a freshman at Penn State, Katherine BB Ann Cole, Ul ster, and (laugh ter of Mr. and Cole, is a mem ber of the Athens FFA. She has 13 Hols teins and four Jerseys as part of her dairy production project. In addition, she works on a sheep production and work experi ence project She hopes to gamer a bache lor’s degree and work either on the family farm or as a herd manager on a large dairy farm. Michael John Cooney culture are listed as the plans for four year Berlin Bro- Bk thersvalley FFA V v member Michael John Cooney. Michael has been active on the demonstra tion and parliamentary procedure teams at his chapter, and has traveled widely as part of the World Agri Science Studies (WASS) program. He spent 10 months in Germany in his senior year of school. He came home in May 1992 and left in Sep tember to Hokkaido, Japan, through the Work Experience Abroad (WEA) prog ram. Michael’s financial backing for WASS came from the local community and county organizations and friends. Backing for WEA came from his personal account and Hillcrest Grange. Chad Correll A major in golf course management occupies the future plans of four-year Dan ville FFA member Chad Correll. Chad has been involved in a wide array of activities 10*^1 MSA' m ' at the chapter,' and attended the national convention. Eastern States Exposition, FFA Week, the Fall Leadership Confer ence, and Farm Show, and has served on the greenhouse committee. He was a mem ber of the Eastern States Nursery Land scaping Team. Chad was honored with the Greenhand Degree and the Achievement Award in Nursery Landscaping and Chap ter Scholarship award. Mat Creacraft Kennard-Dale FFA member Mat Crea craft has served on a variety of chapter committees, including SAEP, Spring Fling, and haunted trail. Mat has four years of on-farm work experience with three dif ferent jobs, and has attended many county and state fairs. Mat has received the Star Greenhand and Star White Rose degrees, and has served as county reporter and trea surer and chapter president and vice president Lance D. Crouse “To own and operate my own farm” are the fu ture plans of Lance D. Crouse, member from Aspers. Lance 888 * ■ has served the chapter on a variety of com mittees, including seed com, citrus, veget able, and BOAC. He has received the Adams County FFA and Chapter Sheep Proficiency awards. Lance served as his chapter secretary. Thomas F. Kristine Debnar Daughter of John and Patricia Debnar, Kristine, a four-year Unit ed FFA member, has served on various chapter committees, in cluding horses, recreation, decorating, planning, and Food for America. She has served as chapter secretary. Various awards include Proficiency Award- Pleasure Horse (silver medal) and she has participated in county horse judging. Her goals are to attend collegte to study equine science or veterinary medicine. Chad Deitrich Tri-Valley FFA member Chad Deitrich has participated in various judging con tests, including land judging, tractor driv ing, livestock judging, and poultry judg ing. Chad has served on the banquet com mitee and parliamentary procedure team, and was awarded a Fruit and Vegetable Proficiency Award.
