Amos resigned from the Ag Pre servation Board and chose not to run for re-election when his term for the state conservation commit tee ended. “I have served under (Continued from Page B 3) about our good products and prices,” Gene said. It’s been a year of change for Steve and Margaret Askews who moved from North Carolina to Manheim in April. The biggest adjustment has been to the cold weather, and Margaret fears that even colder weather is coming. Steve is the herd ’manager for Kreidcr’s Dairy, Manheim. As of December, the dairy has a com puterized herd, and the Askews are looking forward to a good year there. Margaret, who paints portraits of bulls on assignment, is pleased that her business is expanding. As partial payment for painting bulls for Taurus, a bull company, she will have space to exhibit her work at the main floor at the World’s Area Expo in Wisconsin. She looks forward to the exposure that will give to her artwork. Becky Crombert of Chester County hates to be dull, but she said that she hasn’t experienced changes during the past year. “I have been able to hang onto my cows that’s the important thing,” she said. It was a big step for the women to print 2,000 copies.
