HARRISBURG (Dauphin Co.) The Keystone International Livestock Exposition celebrated its 35th birthday last year with the largest show in 10 years. More than 4,400 head of beef cattle, swine, sheep and horses from throughout the United States and Canada were entered for competi tion. The best livestock breeders and exhibitors in the country are ex pected to compete at the 36th ex position in Harrisburg, October 1-S. Parking and admission to the Farm Show Complex are free. The proud traditions that make KILE a showcase for the nation’s top livestock breeders will contin ue in 1992. The show manage ment always tries to keep it com petitive with other national live stock shows. Junior events are a major com ponent of the show. National breed organizations recognize the importance of KILE and frequently use the site for their regional show or as a qualifying event for a series. KILE’s Limousin Cattle Show has been designated by the North American Limousin Foundation as a “Medal of Excellence Show,” making it one of eight approved regional shows to qualify partici pants for their national show. Once again, the Draft Horse Show is a qualifying event in the North American Six-Horse Hitch Supreme dairy title at the York Fair was the three-year-old champion Holstein exhi bited by the Thomas Boyer family.
