Members of the Ml Joy Farmers Cooperative Association met recently to review the year-end business and elect officers. The association markets its members’s milk, which amounted to 121,889,047 pounds from October 1990 to October 1991. Awards presentations were also made during the meeting. Elected to 3-year terms as board directors for the association were Donald Risser and Robert Brandt, both active in the group. Awards presented were to mem bers for producing premium quality milk (low somatic cell counL clean test) for 12 straight months. Although 19 members failed to qualify for the award by one month, 11 did make the associa tion’s honor roll list In addition to getting the recognition, those who produce quality milk get premiums which are added onto their milk Md.
