Seems like every seed company that
sells alfalfa is coming out with a multi
leaf variety. And each new one is
supposed to produce more extra leaves
than the one just before it.
Well, Jacques has one too, but the
reason I decided to seed some of their
Multi-plier last spring had very little to do
with the extra leaves it produces. I bought
it because of its outstanding yield, its
winter-hardiness and its 24 out of 25
disease resistance rating by the
University of Wisconsin. The multi-leaf
trait was just a bonus.
